With Christmas around the corner, holiday bullet journal spreads are in order!

There seems to be an abundance of holidays at the end of the year, and I’m grateful for it. It’s so nice it get some time to spend with family and friends that we don’t see as often as we typically like.

But with this wonderful opportunity comes a lot of hustle and bustle!

If you’re anything like me, the holidays are less about relaxing and more about trying to fit everything in. And that’s exactly where a well planned month comes in.

The holidays are here so in order to get organized, take a look at these holiday bullet journal spreads! All you need to be prepared for Christmas.

I went out into the depths of Instagram (don’t forget to follow me) to bring you some helpful spreads to inspire you to get prepared for this holiday season.

An Overview

This lovely spread has an overview of everything Christmas related. From presents to buy, what’s cooking and what decorations need to go up. Having a go-to page can do a lot to keep you on track!

Gift Ideas

You know how some people are just amazing gift givers? Like you never tell them what you want or need and they end up giving you the perfect thing regardless?

I’m not that person.

I have to work hard to think up gifts I’m proud to give. So having a spread dedicated to coming up with ideas and choosing something is essential for me!

A bucket list

In a list of Holiday bullet journal spreads, there has to be a bucket list.

There is just so much to do and so much nostalgia to get lost in. If you don’t have your priorities straight it’s easy to miss out on some of the magic.

Having a list of “must-dos” is a great way to stay on track.

Bonus Idea: Modify this into a family traditions list. Comment below one of your family’s traditions, I’d love to know.

We love to decorate cookies and watch Black Christmas.

Memories Page

Having a memories page for special times throughout the year helps make your bullet journal a keepsake. I love adding them in for vacations, summer holidays and the Christmas season.

Having a page to write down the best part of your holidays really makes the month special.

Working on my fitness

Just because we’re going to eat a ton of delicious food and have a few decadent drinks doesn’t mean our health is going by the wayside.

With all the shopping, friend visiting, snowman making etc. you may even get more steps in than usual!

I also personally love being able to turn a spread’s title into a pun. Especially if it involves a song of some sort.

Plans vs. Reality

There is always a lot to do over the holidays.

That’s why I laughed and loved this spread when I saw it.

I love how full the plans section is and I would look forward to seeing what ends up in the reality section. What a fun and individual idea.

Advent Calendar

Last year I tried out a bujo doodle advent calendar as part of my count down til Christmas. You can draw and colour things in each day or draw them in beforehand and colour them on the day of.

Choose the method that fits how much time you have!

Holiday Bullet Journal spreads can include a doodle advent calendar!

Holiday Movies Spread

One of the things I love about the holidays is the sheer amount of movies to choose from to get you into the spirit.

Like I’ve said before, we’re a Halloween family so our staples are The Nightmare Before Christmas and Black Christmas.

Holiday Food List

If you host events this time of year, having a list of what you need to get is a must.

Let’s face it, there is nothing worse than having to run to the store for ice or anything else just as guests start to arrive!

Resolutions

I’m not a huge fan of resolutions but I do think that you should start thinking about the things you want to get done next year!

Having a spread for your goal setting is definitely on my list of holiday bullet journal spreads.

Weekly Spreads

Of course, this post on holiday bullet journal spreads wouldn’t be complete without a section for weekly spreads!

Here are some that really embody this time of year.

I love the minimalist vibe of this one.

Who doesn’t love “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”?? Having it as the theme for December is iconic.

This adorable spread touches on many of the best parts of the season.

Having your days planned in these ornaments is precious. I wish I could fit all my to-dos in there!

Holiday bullet journal spreads are so much fun

There are so many beautiful, colourful, warm and fuzzy spreads for this time of year. You can gather inspiration from carols, movies, books and stories, decor and so much more.

I think that the holiday season gives us so many good things, so choosing one to make your monthly theme can be so hard!

But no matter what, it’s bound to be lovely.

Make sure to look at what your December has in store so that you can choose spreads that help you stay organized throughout all the festivities.
